It’s always a honor to be asked to come back and photograph baby’s first birthday photographs.
I first met this family for their little boys newborn photographs a year ago, when he was just 2 weeks old. For his first birthday Mum and Dad wanted to celebrate with a cake smash photo shoot and this little guy did not disappoint.
He really went for it and smashed his bright blue birthday cake to pieces, it was such good fun to watch, by the end of the session he was bright blue.
Hi Mum had dressed him in an adorable nappy cover with braces and a bow tie and he looked so handsome. I always start off each cake smash with some portraits of baby without the cake, to get them used to the backdrop and lighting and me!
This little guy was eager to show off how well he could stand up, very nearly ready to walk. It does help if baby isn’t walking at the time of the cake smash as they usually run off covered in cake, which isn’t great when you are trying to contain the mess to one area.
I created a gallery of over 45 images for Mummy & Daddy to choose from, lots of smiles and a bright blue beard.
Absolutely fantastic photos! Couldn’t of asked for more of a perfect photographer, professional, friendly and captured every moment! Thank you so much. Highly recommend to anyone.
My passion for photography first emerged at a young age and I haven't been able to put the camera down since.
My style is very neutral, classic with a contemporary twist. I love to photograph people and capture real emotion.
I love my job, I am lucky to be able to meet so many amazing families, and be able to create lasting memories from the most emotional times in their lives.
